Hendrick’s Flora Adora launch event 25hours Hotel

Every so often, Hendrick’s Gin releases a special limited edition and in 2023 it launched “Flora Adora” from the Cabinet of Curiosities of Lesley Gracie. To celebrate the official Austrian launch, we were approached by Hendrick’s to create a magical garden filled with surprising elements, flowers, workshops, activities, food and drink. Despite having a late location change, we designed and produced numerous special brand tools and decorations to transform part of Weghuberpark in front of the 25hours Hotel in Vienna into an enchanted pleasure garden perfectly suited for the event. We created a welcome and registration area for the guests, a bees and butterflies meditation area, a cucumber comparison and a flower arrangement workshop area and a deconstructed gin tasting area. We added a lusciously decorated flying dinner table, ample seating including custom made grass furniture, a photo opportunity consisting of an oversized Hendrick’s bottle, several flower fountains, and charming decorations scattered around the area.

The guests were entertained during the event by promoters and dancers dressed in toga and butterfly outfits, along with an actor in a quaint gardener outfit who guided the audience through the programme. To ensure an authentic experience, we made sure the details were tip-top to the extent that the promoters even had flowers growing out of their beards and hair. Unfortunately, a rather gloomy weather forecast threatened to dampen the event, but we were able to arrange last-minute pop-up tents to ensure the weather god did not spoil any of the entertainment.
