The Macallan Launch Vienna

The Macallan approached us to help them design the Austrian launch event at Club Praterstraße for the new addition to its Harmony Collection. Having partnered with Stella and Mary McCartney, Macallan created the third edition of The Harmony Collection, which celebrates the lands of Scotland and its natural beauty.

Inspired by the story behind this limited whisky release, we re-created a Scottish highland scene with faux rocks covered with moss, a grass landscape, projections, tabletops covered in moss, vases with barley and numerous other decoration items, to ensure the guests were transported to the caledonian countryside.

After arriving and having received a cocktail and a welcome speech, the guests were guided into the club area for the actual launch. With mist rising from the floor and special light and sound effects, two professional dancers performed a beautiful portrayal of the awe-inspiring natural world and the creation of new life. At the end of the performance the dancers placed the new limited edition whisky on two specially produced bottle glorifiers made out of solid oak wood with a bed of moss. The guests were then treated to a guided tasting of the drink along with accompanying snacks.
