For Aperol, we designed and produced the first fully mobile Aperol Spritz tap bar in Austria. The objective was clear: create a compact bar solution capable of high-volume service, while remaining easy to transport and adaptable to different event environments — from terraces and rooftops to festivals and temporary pop-ups.
Concept and Function
The bar was developed as a self-contained serving unit. Every component had to be integrated efficiently within a limited footprint.
Key features include:
- Two taps for continuous Aperol Spritz service
- Storage capacity for two kegs of pre-mixed Aperol Spritz
- Dedicated space for tap system and CO₂ bottles
- Integrated central ice compartment for fast access during service
- Robust construction with wheels for smooth repositioning on site
The internal layout was designed around workflow. Ice, kegs, CO₂ and tap system are positioned to minimise movement and allow fast, uninterrupted serving during peak hours.
Mobility as a Design Principle
Unlike fixed bar installations, this unit needed to function across changing environments. Mobility was not an afterthought — it was a core design parameter. The bar is compact enough to navigate through event spaces, yet stable enough to withstand high service pressure. The addition of wheels allows quick repositioning without dismantling, reducing setup time and operational complexity.
Brand Integration
The exterior appearance strictly follows the Aperol brand world. The signature orange, wave pattern and clean front branding ensure immediate recognition from a distance. The result is not just a functional bar, but a mobile brand statement — designed to perform operationally while reinforcing visual identity.
Result
A highly mobile, high-performance tap bar that combines:
- Operational efficiency
- Clean technical integration
- Brand-accurate design
- Durability for repeated event use
A compact object, engineered for real conditions.
