A MOBILE SPRITZ BAR FOR TRADE FAIRS AND PUBLIC EVENTS
For the Campari Group, we developed a mobile Spritz Bar designed for use across trade fairs, public events and high-traffic activation environments. The goal was not simply to build another event bar. The setup needed to create strong visibility in visually dense surroundings while remaining operationally practical for repeated transport, setup and storage. At the same time, the communication layer needed to stay flexible enough to adapt across different event contexts and campaigns.
BUILDING ON AN EXISTING SYSTEM
Instead of starting from scratch, we expanded our in-house mobile bar system into a larger modular setup consisting of a 360 cm front bar and a 280 cm backbar. This approach allowed us to work from a proven operational foundation while adapting the structure specifically to the requirements of the Spritz Bar concept. The result is a system that balances mobility, visibility and adaptability without overcomplicating transport or handling.
VISIBILITY WITHOUT REBUILDING THE STRUCTURE
One of the key requirements was the ability to adapt communication depending on the event. To achieve this, the front bar integrates two exchangeable lightboxes that allow campaign messaging to change without modifying the construction itself. A suspended LED “Spritz Bar” sign increases long-distance visibility inside busy trade fair environments, while an integrated screen within the backbar adds another flexible communication layer. The objective was to create recognisability from distance while keeping the setup operationally efficient.
REDUCING VISUAL WEIGHT
The backbar was intentionally designed to feel more open and less overloaded than traditional product-heavy bar systems. By reducing the number of displayed bottles and introducing a large cut-out referencing the shape of a Spritz glass, the structure frames the product presentation while creating a lighter overall appearance. This helped maintain visibility and readability without turning the setup into a purely decorative object.
DESIGNED FOR REPEATED USE
Operational requirements were considered from the beginning of the project. The setup integrates working light, storage and waste solutions directly into the structure and folds down for transport in a single truckload. The system was designed to move efficiently between events while maintaining a consistent brand presence across different environments.
FIRST DEPLOYMENT
The first deployment of the Spritz Bar took place at Transgourmet PUR | Genussfachmesse 2026.
